Littleborough Cricket Club has made significant progress in strengthening its commitment to accessibility and inclusion.
The club has already installed a “Not All Disabilities Are Visible” sign to promote awareness and understanding among members and visitors.
The club is in the process of building an accessibility ramp, providing improved access from the main bar to the pitch-side area. Now the uneven surfaces have been repaired with new tarmac areas.
Alongside these completed actions, the club has developed a comprehensive Accessibility Action Plan, informed by feedback from the recent accessibility survey.
This plan has been submitted to the Management Committee, who have given their full support for its implementation.
The club will now move forward with the next stages of work, including enhancing ground access, improving parking provisions, increasing accessible information, and exploring more inclusive opportunities for participation.
These steps demonstrate the club’s ongoing commitment to ensuring that its facilities and activities are welcoming, inclusive, and accessible to everyone.
