At Littleborough Cricket Club, we are committed to creating an inclusive, welcoming, and accessible environment for all members, players, volunteers, visitors, and members of the local community and we would like to introduce our EDI Officer, Izzy.
We understand that accessibility is an ongoing process, and we are continually working to improve our facilities, communication, and community engagement to ensure everyone can enjoy the club comfortably and safely.

Our Commitment
Our Accessibility Action Plan was developed following the feedback received through our Accessibility survey conducted between August and October 2025. The feedback helped us identify areas where the club performs well, alongside where improvements could be made.
We are committed to:

- Removing barriers wherever possible
- Listening to feedback from members and visitors
- Making continuous improvements to facilities and services
- Encouraging participation from individuals of all ages and abilities
What we’ve done so far
We have already taken positive steps to improve accessibility across the club, including:
- Developing a formal Accessibility Action Plan
- Creating a dedicated accessibility information and feedback section on our website
- Reviewing access around the clubhouse and ground
- Identifying areas where surfaces and walkways can be improved
- Assessing parking and drop-off accessibility arrangements
- Reviewing accessibility to toilets and clubhouse facilities
- Encouraging ongoing community feedback and consultation
- Planning accessibility awareness initiatives and inclusive community events
Planned Improvements
We are continuing to work towards further improvements, including:
- Repairing uneven pitch-side surfaces
- Improving access routes around the ground
- Installing additional ramps and handrails where appropriate
- Increasing clearly marked accessible parking spaces
- Improving signage and wayfinding around the club
- delivering disability and accessibility awareness training for staff and volunteers
- Exploring inclusive and low-sensory social events for the wider community
