One of our members (Nikola) decided to nominate Littleborough Cricket Club for the ‘Club Awards‘ without telling anyone.
Nikola spent hours researching information, checking facts, gathering evidence and asking random questions without being able to explain why.
The application needed to show just how much goes on behind the scenes at LCC and what this club means to its members and the wider community.
As a result, Littleborough Cricket Club are finalists in four categories:
Catering Club of the Year – Casa Rustica
Community Club of the Year
Cricket Club of the Year
100 Club
Steward of the Year
We are delighted that Steven Clegg is a finalist for the Steward of the Year.
Community Hero Award
Our chairman, Neil Barnes, has been been put through for a Community Hero Award.
Getting this far is something the whole club should be incredibly proud of. It’s recognition of the people who give their time, effort, and support to make LCC what it is.
Congratulations everyone and thank you Nikola for the nomination!
