Littleborough are back on track for the title after a 60 run win at home to Radcliffe.

More pleasing aspect is that the runs and wickets are shared around and this was a classic example of this as Littleborough reached. 246-7 after 48 overs. Opener Mark Whiteley led the way with a fine 63 but there were also useful scores from Dearden 33 and Jones 39.

Fitton 28, Hunter 26 and Mark Hernon 22* provided useful cameo innings to enable Littleborough to reach that fine total.

With the ball Brendan Miskella removed the dangerous Ramsbottom 13 and Skuse 3 . With both Fitton and Dearden working their way through the middle order like clinical surgeons with Dearden ending the fine innings of 69 by Andy Alldred but any late resistance was ended as Hunter caught Stephen Holt for 27 as Radcliffe ended on 186
